This week the RSPCA is looking for a home for a cockatiel. He was a stray but no one came looking for him, so now is in need of a new home.
He seems to be an aviary bird but he is not flighty, so may become a good pet for a patient person. He will cost $35 to adopt but cannot be placed on hold, so be quick before he flies out the door.
GUINEA PIGS
The RSPCA has some cute Guinea pigs looking for homes. These one year old males have been together since babies, so they need to stay together. They will need a secure weatherproof hutch, fresh food and water, good quality hay, fresh fruit and vegetables. They are desexed, vet checked and will cost $40 each to adopt.
All pets for adoption are at the RSPCA shelter at 10 Karungi Crescent, Port Macquarie, open six days a week from 10am until 3.30pm and closed on Tuesdays and public holidays. Call 6581 0380 or go to adoptapet.com.au and click on Port Macquarie.
