President of the Timeless Quilters in Port Macquarie, Sue Jenner, said the day was all about craft lovers coming together from clubs across the region.
“We hold this event every year in a different place and this year it will be in Port Macquarie and will be hosted by the Timeless Quilters of Port Macquarie which is really exciting,” Mrs Jenner said.
“It is a chance for craft groups to come together and showcase what they are doing and to find new and interesting inspiration from other groups to take away.
“Our club has over 90 members but days like this one is especially important for the smaller craft groups as it gives them a chance to mix with lots of different people who are doing similar things to them.”
The sold out share a craft day will have a show and tell component as well as a guest speaker, with money raised on the day to be donated to the Orange Sky Laundry.
“The one day event is all ready sold out but is shaping up to be a great day of craft,” she said.
“We always try to raise money for different local causes at our events, and this time we will have a raffle, with the money raised donated to the Orange Sky Laundry which is fantastic in helping people on the Mid North Coast.”
The share a craft day will be at Tacking Point Surf Club from 10am.
