Meteorologist with weatherzone Brett Dutschke has confirmed some hot and humid weather conditions for Port Macquarie right through to the weekend.
Fortunately Wednesday is likely the warmest day of the week with a peak temperature of 33 degrees.
"It should be generally sunny on Wednesday with a sea breeze in the afternoon," he said.
"However, because it will also be very humid, it will feel some four or five degrees hotter than the actual temperature."
With an overnight minimum temperature hovering around the 20 degree mark, Thursday will be slightly cooler.
"A southerly change in the morning will cap those maximum tempeartures to about 30 degrees."
The humidity is still likely to be quite high, with a partly cloudy and partly sunny day.
A shower is likely over the hinterland area most likely on Thursday evening or early Friday morning.
Friday's minimum temperature will be 20 degrees with a top expected around 31 degrees.
"Friday will be generally a sunny day," Mr Dutschke added.
Saturday should see another southerly change along the coastline with winds turning more onshore.
With a low of 19 degrees, the daytime maximum should be 29 degrees.
There is a moderate chance of picking up some showers although they are more likely in the north and over the hinterland areas.
Sunday is likely to be generally a dry day although there is a reasonable chance of showers and storms inland.
"Near the coast looks to be reasonably dry," Mr Dutschke said.
The southerly change - plus the influence of Cyclone Gita - will see seas and swell increasing marginally over the next few days but peaking to 2.5 metres on the weekend.
Friday is likely the windiest day.
