They make it look like they are giving people a long time to comment, but really they are hoping no-one will notice.
The Port Macquarie-Hastings Council did it with the Biodiversity Strategy which went on public exhibition on December 20.
The NSW Government did it with the Regional Forest Agreement reviews, which went on exhibition on December 18 and close on the 23rd of February.
How about governments get fair dinkum about public consultation and give us the holiday season off.
But then the cynic in me says... nah, they don't really want to hear what we think.
