If you’re headed to the beach, the morning will be your best bet with light winds on shore.
Some towns will have temperatures peak in the low 30s on Sunday – see the full weekend forecast of maximum temperatures in the table below.
Saturday will see the slight chance of rain with a possible thunderstorm about higher ground in the afternoon.
“The storms are more likely in the western district but not likely to travel across to the coast,” explained Weatherzone meteorologist Kim Westacott.
Sunrise is currently at 6.20am with first light just before 6am and early risers have been greeted by some beautiful foggy mornings on the Mid North Coast in recent days.
“We’ve had some beautiful big clear skies at the moment with light winds and this combined with moisture in the ground has created the foggy conditions. Fog is basically cloud at ground level.”
