The day was a key aspect of the Neon Summer festival.
Activities included workshops, face painting, a jumping castle and colouring in.
Gallery curator Niomi Sands said the family fun day was a great way for the whole family to engage in some creative activity.
Children got crafty and creative with projects in four workshops inspired by Neon Summer.
Interactive play was the order of the day at the Stringdom art installation.
Neon Local artists chatted with the families and held demonstrations.
“It’s a great way for them to tell people how they make artwork,” Ms Sands said.
Neon Local celebrates the creative talent of the Mid-North Coast.
Ms Sands said it was great to see the Glasshouse hum.
“It’s lovely to see almost every space activated with something creative and something fun,” Ms Sands said.
“That is really very exciting.”
