With school holidays in full swing kids in the Hastings region had a blast at the creative arts, music and performance camp from January 8-12.
Organiser of the camp Amiee Pelly, said that all the students who came along to the camp had a great time exploring their creative side.
“We call it a camp, but it is basically five days of arts activities where we get the kids to run, dance, play music, take part in drama and performance workshops exploring new things and learning about themselves.
“We had around 20 kids each day come and they have all had such a great time, many started out with no friends and have formed friendships to last a lifetime.
“And not only that, over the last week we have seen the kids grow in confidence and self esteem, ” Ms Pelly said.
