There is an unavailability sheet on the board for pennants 2018 with players encouraged to let the selectors know which dates they aren’t available.
The club has a new larger notice board thanks to Neville Schwartz. Zone 14 bowling arm trials (MBA) are being held at South West Rocks on Monday, March 26 and Monday, April 23.
Zone 14 has initiated a challenge to the state Woomeras MBA side. The Zone 14 side will be known as the Armigos. Closing date is February 16. A notice is on the board for nominations and enquiries.
Port City has been allocated the preliminary rounds of the state 4’s to be held on January 27 and 28, and February 3 and 4.
Entry forms are on the board. The closing date is Saturday, January 13. Men’s club will pay entry fees.
Men’s meat raffle will be held every Friday, tickets available from 5pm with the draw at 7pm.

Free coaching is available on Saturday and Sunday mornings, with bowls provided. Contact the bowls office for details.
Wednesday social bowl winners were Peter Willis, Greg Laird and Paul Sheridan.Thursday’s winners were John Carn and Peter Gunn.
Friday’s winners were Greg Clarke, Peter Gunn and Mike Rand. On Sunday, 40 odd bowlers enjoyed a quiet afternoon, although the jackpot was not won.
