Sod turning ceremony for Port Macquarie Base Hospital mental health unit expansion

Milestone: Mid North Coast Local Health District chief executive Stewart Dowrick, mental health advocate Sheila (Sam) Openshaw, Parliamentary Secretary for Regional and Rural Health and Port Macquarie MP Leslie Williams, Mid North Coast Local Health District Governing Board chairman Warren Grimshaw, and Michael Daley and Pia Latimer from the Mental Health Consumer Advisory Group turn the first sod on the project.

Construction of the expanded mental health unit at Port Macquarie Base Hospital is scheduled for completion in mid-2019.
