Nearly 200 graduates from Charles Sturt University Port Macquarie walked the stage, marking the end of their studies in courses ranging from education, communications and accounting, to agriculture, dentistry and health.

Split over two ceremonies, 120 graduates walked the stage at the Glasshouse in the morning of December 18 followed by another 80 in the afternoon.
Head of Campus Professor Heather Cavanagh said it was a great day for all graduates along with their families and friends.
“We congratulate our graduating professionals with their friends and families on the successful completion of their studies.
“Charles Sturt University takes pride in producing job-ready professionals who enter the workforce very insightful, making a positive impact, creating an inclusive society, and inspiring others.
"More than 200 graduates will receive their testamurs from the University in Port Macquarie this year. We invite you to come and share this important milestone with us," Professor Cananagh said.
Senior lecturer in criminal justice Greg Linsdell said that graduation days are always happy occasions.
“It is a fantastic day for graduating students and for lecturers and staff the day is very rewarding to see students so happy celebrating the culmination of all their hard work,” Mr Linsdell said.
Tim Wess executive dean of science said it is a great milestone also for the first internal Aboriginal students to graduate.
“The graduation of the first internal Aboriginal students in Port Macquarie is a great milestone and I am delighted to be able to share in their celebrations also,” Mr Wess said.
