Meteorologist with weatherzone, Jacob Cronje, said the prevailing weather pattern would impact Port Macquarie-Hastings weather throughout the weekend.
“Generally, we are going to see partly cloudy skies with maximum temperatures of around 27 degrees each of Friday, Saturday and Sunday,” he said.
“Also we will see light showers on Saturday evening and into Sunday morning and likely to be less than two millimetres of rain.
“The cloud will help to keep minimum temperatures down to about 15 degrees (over the weekend).
“Winds will be gusting below the 25 kilometre per hour mark and generally from the east. However, they will likely strengthen on Sunday evening.”
Seas will be generally below one metre but the swell on Saturday and Sunday could reach 1.5 metres on an easterly swell.
Wings will generally become a bit stronger on Saturday afternoon.
Thunderstorms and showers are more likely out to sea, over the weekend.
From Monday, afternoon and evening showers will develop through to Thursday, Mr Cronje said.
“We could see a spot of rain on most days but more likely developing to showers and rain on Tuesday and Wednesday,” he said.
“The maximum temperatures through next week are likely to be between 27 and 28 degrees but overnight temperatures will be to about 18 degrees on those cloudy conditions.”
