The event was on Saturday at Innes Lake Community Centre.
Spokesperson Sybil Juzwiak Doyle said the day was a success in so many ways.
“Do you know what happens when a community of people comes together with love, passion, respect for the environment, laughter, happiness and creativity? The Nature School Fair,” she said.
“The rain came down blessing us all with wet shoes and new growth. It stopped just before Aunty Rhonda acknowledged the country and blessed the fair with her wise words being shared with kookabura's laughter, a kangaroo visiting and sunshine peeking through the clouds.
“Children of all ages were engaged, happy and free. Parents mingled and chatted. Grandparents and other visitors were also entertained. The raffle was drawn with some happy winners.
“Thank you to the first annual The Nature School Fair because it raised much-needed funds.”
The Nature School is continuing to work toward funding its primary school in 2018.
They have set up a crowdfunding campaign. If you can help go to: https://www.chuffed.org/project/the-nature-school-primary-fundraiser
