I was very unimpressed when walking my dog yesterday morning.

We walk along the Doctor’s Walk almost every day but have been away for the past month.
I was shocked to see that the natural waterfall before Oxley Beach had been filled in with rocks.
The hazard to ankles was far more with the little rocks all over the path than some running water ever was.
Aside from this, my dog drinks from this waterfall every time that she walks - there are no dog friendly bubblers along this walk as do many others and local birds and lizards.
I can’t believe the actions of council to get rid of a natural feature of this walk and to destroy a natural ecosystem. I did not see this as part of the proposed coastal walk upgrade.
What are you thinking? And can this poor decision please be reversed?
