That was just one of the challenges along the four kilometre Sand Mania course on November 12.
Hundreds of people tackled the obstacle course from Town Beach to Rocky Point Lookout and back.
Sand Mania marketing manager Hazel Kirby said the event was not about going to the gym or a running race.
“It’s a combination of the two, doing challenges that are achievable, fun and safe,” she said.
“It’s quite challenging because you are not just running four kilometres.”
Challenges included the leap of faith, crab crawl, lumberjack walk and highway to hell.
The Tacking Point Lions Club event started with the Corporate Cup Challenge and also included Mini-Mania and the main event.
Sand Mania raised money for Tacking Point Lions Club, headspace and Marine Rescue Port Macquarie.
Ms Kirby said Sand Mania was a nice bonding event for the teams.
She recognised the support towards the event from about 30 sponsors
