Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man following an alleged police pursuit at Kempsey.

On Wednesday, November 8, 2017, officers from the Mid North Coast Local Area Command were involved in an alleged pursuit with a Holden Cruze in the Kempsey area.
Police later lost sight of the vehicle.
Following inquiries, police have released an image of a man who they believe can assist with their inquiries.
Edward Quinlan, aged 24, is described as being Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander in appearance, 170cm tall, of a thin build, with black hair and brown eyes.
Edward is known to frequent the Port Macquarie and Kempsey areas.
Anyone who sees Edward Quinlan is advised not to approach him but to contact Triple Zero (000) or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
