The business will be up against some of the best establishments across the state at the 2017 AHA NSW Awards for Excellence later this month.
The winner will be announced at a gala function at The Star on Tuesday, November 21. More than 600 nominations were received for the Awards for Excellence across 50 categories.
Settlers Inn is nominated for:
- Best Family Friendly
- Best Retail Liquor Outlet
- Heart of the Community
- Best Casual Dining Venue Country Northern
- Best Cheap Eat Meal Under $15
- Best Sports Bar
- Best Gaming Venue Country
- Best Pub Tab Country
- Individual Hotel Operator, Alistair Flower
- Hotel of the Year Country
Also in the list of finalists is Bar Florian on Clarence Street. The boutique bar is up for the Best Cocktail Lounge or Themed Bar title.
AHA NSW CEO John Whelan said the number of finalists from right across the state shows the strength of the industry in regional NSW.
“This is a night to celebrate innovation and quality in the hotel industry,” he said.
“From the ‘people awards’ like Industry Rising Star and Chef of the Year to the popular food categories’ like Best Restaurant and Best Casual Dining, the award finalists and winners really are the best in the business. I would like to congratulate all finalists on their achievements and recognise the hard-work that goes into running an award-winning venue.”
