In conjunction with the Mid North Coast’s Ford Owners Club All Ford Day, the pin up competition will celebrate all things 40s and 50s.
The competition will have two sections, garage and daywear, and organiser, Miss Velvet Rose says the day is shaping up to be great.
“The competition is not about catwalks it is about glamorous poses and celebrating vintage dress,” Miss Velvet Rose said.
“On the day, contestants will be judged in two categories which will be a lot of fun, the idea is for people to have a good time,” she said.
In the garage category, women must dress in dungarees, jeans or as if they worked in a 1940s factory, posing on stage before being asked about car parts.
In the daywear section, vintage inspired dress is expected, and Miss Velvet Rose said it will all be great fun.
“The aim of the question part of the competition is to gauge ladies’ personalities and to see who inspires them to do what they do.”
The pin up competition is currently taking nomination forms, with nominations closing on October 22.
The competition is open to ladies over the age of 16, with the $5 entry fee donated to Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
The Miss All Ford Pin Up Competition will be held on November 5, at Westport Park from 10am.
