I have been visiting your beautiful town for a week. During my time here I have been in awe of the wonderful beach you have for dogs to run free.

However I have been totally disgusted at the lack of respect people have for protecting this privilege and the sea life. Many times I have walked along the beach to see plastic bags buried in the sand. It wasn't until I witnessed what these were.
Lazy dog owners looking to do the right thing picking up after their dog, only to cover it up with sand and leave it there.
On other occasions owners just ignored the fact that their dog did a whoopsie, others did notice only to cover it over with sand.
Come on. It isn't hard to pick up, carry and put in the bin.
Suggestion to the lazy dog owners. Go buy some nappy bags, even scented ones, pick it up, tie the bag off and put in the bins provided once off the beach.
Do the right thing and you will keep the privilege of walking your dog leash free, on a stunning beach.
