Students and staff brought their dogs along to the campus for a relaxing afternoon.
RSPCA Port Macquarie Volunteer Branch and Headspace also supported the October 11 event.
CSU Port Macquarie student liaison officer (engagement) Ruby Simmons said the doggy welfare day was a relaxing event to take students' minds off exams.
Staff supported the event too.
RSPCA Port Macquarie Volunteer Branch president Jackianne Wright said it was a wonderful time to bring pets to CSU working up to exams.
Ms Wright said dogs had wonderful calming qualities.
“I take my hat off to CSU for having the day,” she said.
