One of the stars, George Miedecke from the Miedecke Motor Group, has been eagerly fundraising for the Dance for Cancer event with an aim to raise $10,000.
Now in its fifth year, the Dance for Cancer event has raised more than $220,000 to help support programs including the Transport to Treatment service, Rotary Lodge, provide legal and financial assistance as well as support Cancer Council initiatives from the Eat It To Beat It nutrition campaign to the Improve Your Long Game sun awareness education.
The event will be a special triumph for businesswoman Skye Petho, inspiration behind the If We All Had Wings campaign – she has been given the tick of health after own battle with cancer.
Every star will have their own fundraising page and will host events in the lead up to the November dance-off at Rydges Port Macquarie.

“The Cancer Council does so much for the local community; it’s a pleasure to have the opportunity to be able to give back to this great organisation,” said George Miedecke, owner of the Miedecke Motor Group.
“Every dollar counts and we’ll be doing whatever we can to reach our $10,000 goal.”
Tickets will be sold for the Mustang weekend at Settlement City from Monday October 9, to Friday October 13.
Tickets will also be available at the dealership during this time. Entrants must be over 25 and hold a valid driver’s licence.
“A special acknowledgement to the team at Settlement City for donating a spot in the centre for this give away. Port Macquarie truly is the best community to be a part of,” Mr Miedecke said.
