The efforts of emergency services have been praised after an extensive search on Saturday, September 30 in the Camden Haven resulted in a man being found.

Mid North Coast Local Area Command duty officer Sergeant Hardwick said the 45-year-old, who was staying in the area, went missing from a property on Camden Head Road, Dunbogan.
“The man had not been seen by anyone since midday on Friday, September 28,” he said.
“Concerns were raised for his welfare after his partner attended the property at 11pm on Friday, September 28.”
A patrol was launched in the early hours of Saturday, September 30 made up of Mid North Coast LAC, Mid North Coast SES, NSW SES PolAir, NSW National Parks and Wildlife and Camden Haven SES. Two members of the public were also involved in the search.
Sergeant Hardwick said the man was found at Diamond Head on rocks near the water.
“He was very weak and suffered a minor injury to his knee,” he said.
The man was carried back to Diamond Head campground and then taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Sergeant Hardwick praised the efforts of everyone who was involved in the search.
He said it is important that people tell others if they are going somewhere and what time to expect them back.
