The water is heated and the 1m and 3m diving boards are ready to be used.
Wauchope Swimming Club is ready to start training and are looking forward to a full season in the recently refurbished heated outdoor pool.
“We encourage keen swimmers of any age and ability to come and join in on the fun,” said Kelly Newell.
Swimming club meets every Tuesday evening starting at 5.30pm.
The club will hold a registration night on Tuesday September 26, with the Aqua Scramble being available for the children’s enjoyment.
The following two Tuesdays, October 3 and 10, will be the club’s ‘Come and Try Nights’ with the season kicking off on October 17.
Registration prices have been greatly reduced this year, as Swimming NSW has cut their fees due to the short season in 2016-2017.
Swimmers’ fees are $50 and non-swimmers are $20, with all swimmers aged seven and under free.
This year, all registered swimmers will receive a free Wauchope Swimming Club cap.
Swimming club offers a barbeque each Tuesday and provides a healthy, fun and social outlet for children and their parents.
