Leanne Perryman is the very proud owner of a two-year-old mini-foxie x shih tzu named Iggy.
“Although a tad reluctant at first, Iggy loves the new agility equipment at the new Henry Kendall Reserve dog park,” she said.
“As a responsible dog owner I absolutely applaud the council for building a space for our canine friends to run unrestricted and socialise in a safe environment.
“This is something that is very important for their health and development.”
New agility equipment was recently installed at the park.
Owners can now exercise their dogs using the hurdle pole, jump hoops, slalom posts and peaked scaling ramp.
Henry Kendall Reserve was officially opened as a leash free park in July.
Before the park at Henry Kendall Reserve opened up people who live in the Camden Haven could exercise their dogs leash free at specifically designated beaches in Bonny Hills, Dunbogan, North Haven and Lake Cathie.
