Cars and buses will choke the highway from up to the north, down to the south and out to the west with most towns in the region to be represented on Saturday or Sunday.
Wauchope, Kempsey, Grafton, Coffs Harbour, Old Bar and Wingham will all have teams competing in their relevant season deciders.
Port City Breakers sailed through the Group 3 season undefeated and go into Sunday’s clash with Macleay Valley as favourites to go back-to-back.
It will be their third-straight grand final.
Hastings Valley Vikings finished the season in the relatively unknown position of second, before they progressed to their fifth-straight grand final.
They will aim for four-straight premiership wins.
Breakers captain Ben Stewart is excited about what lies ahead for his team on Sunday at 3pm at Regional Stadium.
“It should be a ripper out there,” he said.
“The only thing is the Floyd Mayweather-Connor McGregor fight, but you have a team from almost every club from the group so it should be a big turnout.”
Stewart didn’t expect the Breakers to be overawed by what is expected to be a bumper crowd.
“I don’t think we will be, because we’ve competed in the last two grand finals so the boys are used to it now,” he said.

“In the first semi-final Kempsey pretty much had half of their town there and this week you will have Wingham in the reggies and the girls have Old Bar and Wauchope have the 18s.
Vikings captain Hamish McCormack was hopeful the three-time premiers could get things off to a successful start on Saturday from 3pm at Oxley Oval.
“It’s good to see the strength of sport in Port Macquarie,” he said.
“Good luck to the Breakers and hopefully we can get the job done first.”
McCormack said the home-ground advantage at Oxley Oval for their clash with Southern Cross University shouldn’t be underestimated.
“There’s no better feeling than running out the tunnel at Oxley Oval on grand final day,” he said.
“Just seeing how passionate the people are as you’re coming through is a big motivator for us.

“We want everyone possible to get out there. It’s a massive game.”
The Vikings captain said they were also proud to see their junior side appear in a season decider.
“Good luck to our under-16s, they’ll be our first junior side in the last 10 years to play in a grand final,” he said.
