The Evening Branch will be commencing their celebration of Awareness Week with a presentation lunch on Wednesday, August 23 at the Tenison Woods Centre in Port Macquarie.
A light lunch will be available from 12 noon with the presentation ceremony at 1pm.
The presentation lunch is an opportunity for the Branch to publicise their donation recipients for the year. Following their attendance as guest speakers at recent meetings donation recipients for 2017 are Catherine Vaara CEO of Lifeline Mid Coast and Dr Ray Hodgson’s foundation Australians for Women’s Health.
Various local dignitaries will be at the presentation including a representative for Leslie Williams MP, mayor Peta Pinson and the Mid North Coast Group president Margaret Breust.
The branch members are delighted to be able to support these two worthy causes with their fundraising efforts this year. These activities include helping at the Ironman event, fashion parades and market stalls.
Members of the public are welcome to attend this event and learn more about the many ways the Branch contributes to the community.
