Interested groups who are requiring fields from September 2017 until March 2018 are required to submit a formal application to ensure that all clubs have access to sporting facilities over this busy period.
Applications should detail the intended use of the fields, expected attendance numbers, dates for use, facilities required and must have the appropriate public liability insurance to include in the submission.
“Council provides and maintains a great range of sporting fields and facilities right across the region that are available for training, weekend sport, carnivals and community fun days and events,” said council group manager Liam Bulley.
“Our sports fields are always in high demand and Council encourages local sporting clubs and community groups to book their desired fields so their events and activities can run as planned during the busy summer period.”
Applications to book a Council sports field close on Friday, August 25.
