Developed by the Lewis Land Group in Port Macquarie, the Sovereign Hills master planned community is buzzing with construction activity.
Stage 3 comprises 48 affordable blocks in the community’s fast-growing southern precinct which sold out within weeks of release, to buyers such as Ben and Hana Smith.
The young family of five are finalising their new home plans with a local builder and hope to start construction shortly.
“We are looking forward to being part of one of the newest residential developments in the region, and being able to enjoy the amenity this development will provide,” said Ben.
“We have built previously in Tasmania. We are looking forward to being able to build again and to create a custom space that suits the needs of our family.”
The family moved to Port Macquarie three-and-a-half years ago wanting a better future for their children and the ideal lifestyle.
“Before we relocated I was fortunate enough to secure employment in the region which provided us with some financial security. I have changed employers once in the time we have been here, due to the first employer being based in Kempsey and the travel time was becoming a challenge, especially with the current highway upgrades,” added Ben, now the Financial Controller at Expressway Spares.
“My current role is much closer to home, allowing me more time to spend with the family... I consider myself fortunate to have a solid role with a large local employer.”
Sovereign Hills is a rapidly growing part of Port Macquarie, with another highly anticipated land release due this month.
The vision for Sovereign Hills includes a modern town centre with shopping, community and medical facilities, and more than 2,000 home sites to be rolled out over the next decade.
