Universities, local employment agencies, the Defence Force, Police, TAFE and support agencies engaged with students to discuss and provide information about the wide range and ever changing opportunities available to youth today.
Over 60 exhibitors attended the event to answer students’ questions about life after school.
MacKillop College Year 12 student Isaac Trow said he plans on studying physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University and the expo has been helpful in providing more information about his future course.
Dave Gray from Camden Haven High School said the expo provided students with a place to access all the information they need in one place.
“There are so many options for students now that it can sometimes be hard for them to navigate through those to find a course which suits them,” he said.
Mr Gray said it was great for students to be able to chat with people from different institutions to find out about what is on offer for them.
He said the courses involving media, entertainment, gaming, design and multimedia were proving to be attractive for students.
