Rhyan, 14, has been a member of the NSW Ballsquad for the past five years.
Only two ballkids (one girl and one boy) from each state are chosen each year to represent their Ballsquads at the Australian Open.
Rhyan will be a part of the Australian Open Ballkid visitors program meeting other ballkids from overseas as well.
Rhyan was also selected last year to do the Davis Cup when it was in Sydney and the Men’s and Women's Final for Sydney International earlier this year.
“To be selected for a Grand Slam will just top off his years as a ballkid, he is very quick around the net area and knows the game well being a junior tournament player himself,” said club president Wendy Hudson.
“Kendall is renown for producing quality ballkids for the Sydney International with our club once again selected to hold the Northern NSW ballkid trials for Sydney International on August 6.
“These trials are a great opportunity for country kids to become ballkids.”
