All money raised from the July 29 pop-up shop will fund resources for the centres.
Hastings District Respite Care senior support worker Lyn Campbell said the pop-up shop would bring people into the Greenmeadows Drive centre and they could have a look at the awesome centre.
“Come along and see what we do, have a look at our beautiful centre and come and meet some of the people that come here,” Mrs Campbell said.
The day will raise awareness about dementia and get carers involved too.
Decorated pots, blankets, bird feeders, hanging tea towels and mosaics will be among the items for sale.
The pop-up shop is a lead in to a stall at the Foreshore Markets in November.
The community is invited to support the pop-up shop between 8am and 2pm on July 29 at Greenmeadows Respite Centre at 91 Greenmeadows Drive.
There will be a sausage sizzle, and tea and coffee available.
Hastings District Respite Care offers dementia-specific programs at Greenmeadows Respite Centre.
Hastings District Respite Care has three other centres in the area.
