Andrew is running 3000 kilometres from Adelaide to Brisbane as part of his campaign The Million Dollar Run.

His goal is to raise $1 million to help find a cure for people with a rare and shocking skin condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). 

The incurable disease sees children and young adults live their lives covered head to toe in blisters. 

Mr Biszczak and his family sold everything they owned including their dream home to launch the campaign. 

On the morning of July 20 Mr Biszczak ran 20 kilometres before he arrived at the school.

Each day he runs between 40 and 50 kilometres for five days a week. 

Mr Biszczak said EB is a devastating skin condition. 

“It affects children from birth and the condition is horrific so it’s great for children to have an awareness of what some other children go through,” he said. 

Mr Biszczak said he has had great feedback from parents whose children can’t stop talking about the Butterfly Children since his presentation. 

“I’m obviously making a difference in helping to build their awareness," he said. 

Mr Biszczak said he loves to visit places like Kendall and talk to children at schools. 

“Children are really receptive,” he said

“The response and feedback I get is just fantastic.”

To take on the venture Mr Biszczak had to drop 30 kilograms. 

“I was not a runner before,” he said.
