The theme for this year’s summit is 'Dangerous Ideas' and thinking big. Daring to dream and create, taking calculated risks to achieve success.
The aim is to provide participants with the skills, knowledge and confidence to 'just do it' and take a risk to achieve success. The youth will be challenged to create dangerous ideas for the future.
One thing that stays the same year from year is the organisers goal of inspiring and lifting the leaders of tomorrow.
“We want to provide all youth with the opportunities to be able to develop their skills, knowledge and confidence so that they are fully equipped to be the best version of themselves and live the life they aspire to,” Luminosity chair Kate Wood-Foye said.
“It is important that they have access to high quality resources, speakers and opportunities to inspire and engage youth.”
Some of the speakers at this year’s summit include: Survivor competitor and founder of LIVIN, Sam Webb, legally blind water skier and Spartan competitor Ben Pettingill, and local ambassador of the Indigenous Marathon Project Charlie Maher.
The summit will wrap up on July 21 at 5pm in the main theatre of the Glasshouse.
