This event was first suggested by a cousin of resident Warren Hannah who worked for a bus company and thought it would be a good way to promote Comboyne.
Sadly she did not live to see the event come to life.
Warren has spent most of his life as a chef and event planner and it is to his credit and skill that the Comboyne Community has been able to help him achieve such a wonderful day out for many people.
This is the second year that Comboyne War Memorial Hall has put on this event and no advertising was needed to fill up the 900 places on offer to celebrate Christmas in July.
Melinda Pavey attended the luncheon last Sunday with her husband and they thoroughly enjoyed it.
