“The rollout of the NDIS is a significant undertaking because it affects thousands of people throughout the region,” Cowper MP Luke Hartsuyker said.
“All of the NDIS Local Area Coordination offices will assist people with a disability, their families, their carers, and service providers’ transition to the scheme.
“Not only do these LAC offices in our region provide support for planning, implementation and review for NDIS participants, but these offices have also created 49 new jobs in the region.”
The rollout of the NDIS on the NSW North Coast will commenced on July 1.
