The NAIDOC cup touch football competition is open to all Hastings high school students, male and female, Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal, and aims to bring local students together to have some fun and celebrate NAIDOC Week.
The touch football competition will be held from 11.30am until 1.30pm at Dixie Park, Port Macquarie.
MNCLHD Aboriginal Health Worker Orry Berry said the touch football competition is a free event, and participants just need to bring joggers or football boots to wear on the day.
“There will be heaps of prizes and giveaways on the day, and we are providing fresh fruit, drinks and a barbecue lunch as well,” said Mr Berry.
If you are interested in participating in the NAIDOC Cup or would like further information call Orry Berry on 6588 2988 or Tristram Morris on 6588 2631.
