Dave Harris and Peter White had to come from behind to win their quarter final of the Charles Uptin Knockout at Port Macquarie Golf Club on Saturday.

The Charles Uptin Knockout is a four-ball match play event and is recognised as the club’s most prestigious handicap event.
Originally it was known as the News Knockout and it is in its 69th year.
Harris and White were never in front in the regulation eighteen holes of their match against Dave Tydd and Greg Clark, who are past winners of the event.
The first seven holes were halved before Tydd and Clark won two in a row to turn two up.
They were still two up with three holes left and were one up playing the 18th hole, where Harris knocked in a downhill putt from off the green to win the hole a send the match down the 19th hole, which White won with a par.
In Sunday’s semi-final Harris and White played Chris Baker and Paul Atkin, who had a two and one win over Mick Brennan and Alistair Finn.
In the other semifinal, John Hutchison and Craig Mutton played Greg Kent and Garry Kemp.
Both pairs had four and three wins over Les Murphy and Nick Ratcliffe, and Neil Smith and Graeme Sim respectively.
