Telstra say mobile services are back up and running in the Bago area, after customers around Wauchope complained of being without mobile phones and internet since last Friday, June 16.

However, although some homes and businesses have been reconnected, other people are still unable to use their mobile phones or go online.
Janet Hughes told Fairfax Media that ever since NBN started getting ready in Wauchope in March this year, her internet hasn’t worked properly.
Peta Simmons posted that Bennetts Steel had been left without internet or phones, and complained that they pay for landlines and mobiles.
“So sorry our business is situated in Bago (Wauchope) and not Turnbull’s North Shore. NSW means more than Newcastle, Sydney and Wollongong,” she wrote on Facebook.
Katie Cooper said it definitely wasn’t fixed and back to normal.
“I still have very limited reception, dropping in and out,” she posted.
Carolyn Wynnyk said she couldn’t even open the link to read the story on our website.
“No-one at Telstra knows what's going on; they pass the buck and put it in the ‘it’s too hard’ bucket,” commented Kelly Russell.
Jeremy Bradley said it just wasn’t good enough.
“We pay a lot more for a Telstra account because of better connectivity.
“Surely if we are not getting the service that we are paying for, and it is causing us inconvenience, hardship, loss of business and loss of security in the event of a crisis we have a right to compensation?” he wrote.
Mark Ennor complained that his business just got service back after nothing for six days.
And Julia Shoesmith was very unhappy with Telstra, but said there is a limited choice of servers in Beechwood.
Some customers in Hyndman’s Creek are still without service.
