The Port Macquarie-Hastings community are invited to listen to one of the best bands in Australia perform alongside local musicians to help assist the Rebuild Pappinbarra appeal.
The Royal Australian Navy Band Sydney and the Hastings Concert Band will perform at the Laurieton United Services Club on July 2 at 4pm.
On February 12 the Pappinbarra Valley experienced a catastrophic fire event which destroyed homes, sheds and whole farms.
The Rebuild Pappinbarra appeal was set up in support of the community who suffered significant damage in the devastating fires.
The performance on July 2 will showcase a variety of wind band music which includes traditional marches and popular pieces.
Deputy musical director of the Hastings Concert Band Ben Simon said it was a fantastic opportunity for the public to see and hear local musicians share the stage with some of the most professional instrumentalists in the country.
Admission to the concert is by gold coin donation.
For more information about the concert please contact the Laurieton United Services Club on 02 6559 9110.
