The ‘Pies head into the match confident after registering their first win of the season – a 135-point drubbing of Grafton – on May 27.
Injured captain Jesse Schmidt said the side were focused on backing up their drought-breaking win with another solid performance.
“It will be good for us to head into the game confident of challenging them,” he said.
Luke Long and Craig Dicker are the only players who will take the field that remain from that golden year for the club.
In further positive news, coach Anthony Beasley will welcome back half-forward Fraser Carroll who is expected to play his first game in almost a month.
“He provides that link into the forward line for us which is important,” Schmidt said.
Bryce Hayward will play his second game for the season after starring in the win over the Tigers last month.
Schmidt said it was an important day for the club and the players were focused on getting the job done.
“It’s always good to have the past players in attendance because it provides that added motivation,” he said.
First bounce is at 2.20pm at Wayne Richards Park.
