Rebel and Lucy are beautiful greyhounds who have finished racing and are now looking for a place to settle down.
Rebel is black and five and a half, and loves to curl up in a comfy place. This gentle girl has won the hearts of all at the shelter.
She cannot be adopted into a home with cats or pocket pets as she still has a drive to chase. She is good with other dogs but formal introductions will be needed.
Lucy is white and tan and a year younger than Rebel. She has been more of a pet than a racer. Like Rebel she would like to be a sofa queen and relax indoors with her new family.
She has the sweetest nature and is truly a winner in anyone’s eyes. Lucy would not be suited to a home with small pets, but she is fine with other larger dogs.
They are both desexed, micro-chipped, vet checked, vaccinated, flea treated, wormed, heartworm tested and will cost $100 each to adopt.
NIKA
Nika is a quiet but affectionate lady who is about 18 months old and has been waiting for two months for her forever home.
She first arrived at the shelter as a mother of seven kittens and raised them with love and devotion, not to mention lots of patience.
Her babies have found loving homes so now it is Nika’s turn. She has a short, easy-to-care-for coat that she maintains herself but a quick brush will remove any loose hairs.
She is a lovely cat that would suit any family willing to give her plenty of attention and a lap to snuggle into.
Nika is desexed, micro-chipped, vet checked, vaccinated, flea treated, wormed, litter trained and will cost $100 to adopt.
Nika is housed at the RSPCA shelter at 10 Karungi Crescent. The shelter is open six days a week, from 10am until 3.30pm and is closed on Tuesdays and public holidays. Telephone number is 6581 0380.
