What a wonderful turnout for the 10th Slice of Haven festival on Sunday.
With a theme of a slice of rebellion this year’s festival saw thousands of locals and visitors enjoy perfect weather for a day of relaxation, fun and savouring the finest produce the Camden Haven and surrounds have to offer.
More than 60 food and beverage vendors provided a fantastic array of delicacies, and really highlighted the talent, quality and commitment of our regional foodie businesses.
A huge thanks and congratulations must go to the volunteer committee that coordinate and stage this successful event annually, and we are already looking forward to next year.
Council supports a number of community events and activities, and is a proud sponsor of Slice of Haven under the Event Sponsorship Program, which encourages vibrant events for our community along with attracting visitors from outside our region.

Welcome Ulysses
This week we welcome more than 2000 Ulysses Motorcycle Club members for a week of great fun, bikes and camaraderie as they visit Wauchope for their annual general meeting.
One of the highlights will be the Wauchope Motorcycle Street Festival from 4pm until 7pm on Friday, when cool bikes, great live music and street food will transform Hastings Street. Everyone’s invited, as motorbikes of all types line Hastings Street to celebrate Wauchope's status as the first official Motorcycle Friendly Town in NSW.
Another highlight will be the Ulysses Grand Parade through Port Macquarie. This should be an amazing spectacle, so bring the family and feel the rumble from the sidelines.
The Ulysses Club is a club for motorcyclists older than 40 years. They are proud of being the largest social club in Australia.
