The locally owned and operated Better Homes has signed up to the Sovereign Hills Display Village and is looking forward to unveiling a fresh brand and house design in spring when the doors are officially opened.
Company directors Neville Jones, Greg Hall and John Heagney revealed the plans are undergoing the finishing touches and they’re looking forward to joining a village environment for the first time.
“We’ve had dozens of display homes over the years throughout Port Macquarie, Bonny Hills, Wauchope, and I think the fact we’re in a village with other competitors is a good thing,” Mr Jones said.
“It gives us the ability to really highlight our benefits and the features we can offer to clients as well as our point of difference.”
The company has been in local hands since its inception in 1981 and is proud to have maintained many original suppliers and tradespeople over the years.
Better Homes’ most recent display homes have been located in eastern Port Macquarie, however, Sovereign Hills’ forecast growth and the ability to provide prospective home owners with one stop for their land and housing needs, proved a strong draw card.
“It’s the numbers that come through this area and the growth rate, and the land that’s now being offered in the Stirling Green, Sovereign Hills area,” he said.
“I suppose it gives us the potential growth and the opportunity to be involved with a group of like-minded people both in terms of the developers and of course the builders in the village.”
Better Homes will join 11 award-winning builders in the new display village on Sovereign Drive which is located at the entrance to the Sovereign Hills master planned community’s Stirling Green precinct.
The company hopes its track record of tailoring a new home to suit the individual needs of each buyer will put them in good stead.
“We’re not governed by any other parent company or body, so we can provide them with total flexibility whether it be in the design phase or the inclusions, and being family owned and operated we are all on the same page while also being determined to exceed the expectations of our clients,” he said.
