The NRMA’s Bowser Buster ranks the weekly average unleaded petrol and diesel prices for over 50 locations in NSW and including Canberra from cheapest to most expensive.
For the week ending May 14 Port Macquarie was placed at position 20. For the week ending May 7 Port Macquarie was at position 17.
Wauchope was positioned at 41 for the week ending May 14 and had an average unleaded petrol price of 133.7.
Goulburn was the cheapest place for motorists to fill up with unleaded petrol and had an average price of 119.9.
Tumut and Glenn Innes were the most expensive places to fill up with an average price of 137.5.
For diesel Port Macquarie was the sixth most expensive out of 57 places located in New South Wales and including Canberra.
The average price of diesel in Port Macquarie for the week ending May 14 was 134.2. Port Macquarie was ranked at position 52.
It was cheaper to fill up with diesel in Wauchope which had an average price of 128 and was placed at position 16.
Lithgow was the cheapest place to fill up with diesel with an average price of 122.7.
Parkes was placed at position 57 and the most expensive for diesel with an average price of 137.2.
