The project is looking at transport options for NSW over the next 40 years, and Transport NSW is keen to consult with small towns to feel out current issues and get ideas of what they should be planning for.
They have set up a meeting with key Hastings Co-op members to present the project concept and do a Q and A/brainstorming session.
It’s on Monday May 15 at 10am in Wauchope Country Club and is scheduled to last around an hour and a half.
This event will give local people and businesses in Wauchope the chance to have their say in creating a vibrant business community for the future.
The topics include:
- Tell us how you travel in rural NSW
- How connected are you to the transport system
- Are you interested in expanding aviation options
- What do you think about clever vehicles, smart roads for the bush?
- How do we deal with increasing demands for Freight?
- Open discussion
There will be four people from TfNSW attending and Minister Pavey.
The Transport NSW people include, Alastair Walton, Jolene Gralow, Rob Mason and executive member, Sheree Joseph.
