This year’s event is on at the Port Macquarie Race Club on Tuesday, May 16 and promises to deliver further opportunities for students to interact and learn about local career choices.
Year 9 to 12 students, parents and those seeking career and study guidance are invited to attend and engage with North Coast TAFE, Universities, industry representatives and support services to help plan their future and access updated information on any recent changes within industry, education and vocational training sectors.
The event will continue to maintain a strong focus on interactive exhibitions to make the experience fun, as well as informative.
The Mid Coast Careers Market is now in its 10th year. Organisers, Mid Coast Connect and Education Partner, TAFE NSW, have seen numbers in both exhibitors and students steadily increase each year.
“We credit the success of the event to the diverse range of information available and the high level of student interaction. We’re looking forward to building on past achievements and continuing to bring an engaging and informative event to local students, parents and the wider community,” Jenny Fraser, executive officer said.
The Mid Coast Careers Market will be open from 10am until 2pm and members of the public are welcome to attend.
