The NRMA’s Bowser Buster ranks the weekly average unleaded petrol and diesel prices for over 50 locations in NSW and including Canberra from cheapest to most expensive.
For the week ending April 23 Port Macquarie was placed at position 21 which is an improvement of one place from the previous week.
Wauchope was ranked as fifth most expensive for the week ending April 23 and had an average unleaded petrol price of 136.8.
Nowra was the cheapest place for motorists to fill up with unleaded petrol and had an average price of 116.8.
Yass was the most expensive place to fill up with an average price of 139.3.
For diesel Port Macquarie was the sixth most expensive out of 57 places located in New South Wales and including Canberra.
The average price of diesel in Port Macquarie for the week ending April 23 was 135. Port Macquarie was ranked at position 52.
It was cheaper to fill up with diesel in Wauchope which had an average price of 129.5 and was placed at position 27.
Lithgow was the cheapest place to fill up with diesel with an average price of 122.9.
Forster was placed at position 57 and the most expensive for diesel with an average price of 136.2.
