The following cases were heard in the Port Macquarie Local Court on April 19 in front of Magistrate McIntosh.
Shayann Lampard, 26 from Woodvale Place, Port Macquarie pleaded guilty to resist an officer in execution of duty, intentionally or recklessly destroy or damage property and two charges of stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm.

Police facts said on April 11 Lampard was visiting a friend in Wauchope with another person. Wauchope Police got involved and Lampard and the other person were escorted to Port Macquarie. As they were travelling Lampard said she felt sick and had used the drug ice. Police took Lampard and the other person to Port Macquarie Base Hospital for medical treatment.
Facts said at the hospital Lampard pulled down a free hanging sign and dropped it onto the floor. Lampard told one wardsman 'stop staring at me c*** or I'll come and smash you'. Lampard threw her hand up in the air and smashed a wall light. Lampard also approached another wardsman getting in his face with her arms stretched out and said 'I'm going to smash you you racist c***'.
At the Port Macquarie Police Station police noticed Lampard had a pencil in her right hand. Facts said police grabbed Lampard's hand to remove the pencil and she immediately resisted police. Police used restrain methods to gain control of Lampard's arms so she could be handcuffed.
Lampard was sentenced to a term of imprisonment from April 12 until April 19.
Knife in public
Stacey Bennett, 20 from Kennedy Drive pleaded guilty to having custody of knife in a public place.
Police facts said at about 9am on April 7 Bennett was the front passenger of a vehicle which travelled west on Ackroyd Street.
Police stopped the vehicle for an unrelated matter. They conducted a search of the vehicle and located a small steak knife in the glove compartment.
Bennett was fined $100 and the knife was ordered to be forfeited.
Low range PCA
Paul Stephen Brent, 52 from Marbuk Avenue, Port Macquarie pleaded guilty to driving with a low range PCA.
Police facts said Brent drove a Ford Fiesta sedan west on High Street, Wauchope about 8.35am on March 25.
He was stopped for a random breath test which resulted in a positive reading. Brent was conveyed to the Wauchope Police Station and underwent a breath analysis test which gave the reading 0.063.
Brent was found guilty but without conviction and sentenced to a 12 month good behaviour bond under section 10 (1) (b).
Dangerous drunk driver
Amanda Burnett, 43 from The Halyard, Port Macquarie pleaded guilty to driving with a high range prescribed concentration of alcohol (PCA).
Police facts said at about 5.50pm on March 4 police received a number of phone calls regarding the dangerous manner of driving by Burnett. Police were called to Hollingworth Street after Burnett had stopped with two flat front tyres.
Facts said a witness told police Burnett had collided with a traffic island on Gordon Street and mounted the curb before she stopped on Hollingworth Street.
Burnett underwent a roadside breath test which gave a positive reading. She was conveyed to the Port Macquarie Police Station for a breath analysis test which gave a reading of 0.227.
Burnett was sentenced to an interlock period of two years and was disqualified from driving for six months. She was fined $750.
Threats lead to prison
Robbie Carr, 36 from Hollingworth Street, Port Macquarie appeared via audio video link and pleaded guilty to two charges of stalk/intimidate intend fear or physical harm.
Police facts said on April 11 Carr and another person were in Wauchope visiting a friend. Carr and the other person were taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital by police as they appeared to be drug affected.
Facts said at the hospital Carr became aggressive towards a wardsman after being told to leave. Carr said 'get your f****ing facts straight I didn't break anything. If you don't watch out I will throw you through the window'. Carr told another wardsman 'if you say I smashed that light I'm going to smash you'.
Facts said it appeared Carr was heavily drug affected at the time of the incident.
Carr was sentenced to a term of imprisonment for one month from April 12 for each charge, to expire on May 11.
Assaulted motel manager
John Denis Dalton, 36 from Victory Parade, Tascott pleaded guilty to common assault.
Facts said the victim is the manager of a motel on Gordon Street, Port Macquarie. About 4.20pm on February 16 the victim was sitting behind the front desk of the reception when the accused walked in. Dalton said he had a booking and provided his name but the victim could not find it.
Facts said Dalton called the victim a 'fucking smug c***'. Dalton pushed a business card holder into the victim's chest.
Dalton was found guilty but without conviction and was sentenced to a good behaviour bond for 12 months under section 10 (1) (b).
One cannabis plant
Aaron James Gadd, 33 from Mooney Street, Telegraph Point pleaded guilty to cultivate a prohibited plant.
Facts said about 10.10am on January 20 police attended the property. Police were lead to a single cannabis plant which was 60cm high growing in a large pot in a fenced off pool area.
Gadd was fined $300 and the plant was ordered to be destroyed.
Suspended driver
Andrew Kennedy, 20 from James Close, Port Macquarie pleaded guilty to driving with a middle range PCA and driving a motor vehicle while suspended.
Facts said about 10.55pm on April 24, 2016 police observed a Holden Apollo travelling west on Thomas Street, West Tamworth. Police activated warning lights and Kennedy stopped on the corner of Thomas Street and Mahony Avenue.
Kennedy underwent a breath test but failed to produce an adequate sample. Checks revealed Kennedy's licence had been suspended on October 11, 2015. Kennedy was conveyed to the Tamworth Police Station where he underwent a breath analysis test which gave a reading of 0.103.
The Magistrate sentenced Kennedy to a section nine good behaviour bond for 18 months.
Prohibited drug
Kane Andrew Maltman, 32 from Graham Street, Kendall pleaded guilty to possessing a prohibited drug.
At about 12.40pm on March 27 police drove on Batar Creek Road, Kendall and stopped a vehicle.
Facts said Maltman was a passenger in the car. During a search police located a bag with a steel container inside. There were bags inside the container with numerous seeds in each. The seeds and plastic bags weighed 44 grams.
Maltman was fined $500 and the drug was ordered to be destroyed.
Breath test 0.231
Natasha Dawn Nicholls, 36 from Granite Street Port Macquarie pleaded guilty to driving with a high range PCA (second offence).
Facts said at 12.05am on January 31 Nicholls drove east on Hill Street. She crossed on to the incorrect side of the road and collided with a parked vehicle. Police attended and Nicholls underwent a breath test which gave a positive reading. She was conveyed to the police station and underwent a breath analysis test which gave a reading of 0.231.
She was sentenced to a 12 month good behaviour bond under section nine and was required to report to community corrections within seven days. Nicholls was fined $750, disqualified from driving for seven months and has an interlock period of two years.
Breached AVO
A woman aged 66 from Wonga Crescent, Port Macquarie pleaded guilty to contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO.
The victim and accused were at residence on April 15 at 10.29pm. Police attended the location. They were directed to the rear of the property and sighted the accused sitting down smoking and drinking a glass of wine. It was apparent she was well affected by alcohol and in contravention of the AVO.
The woman was sentenced to a good behaviour bond under section nine for 12 months.
Refused breath test
Sandra Peak, 39 from Harbourside Crescent, Port Macquarie pleaded guilty to refuse or fail to submit a breath analysis test.
About 6.20pm on March 17 police observed Peak exit the carpark of Settlement City Shopping Centre. Facts said police activated warning signals and the vehicle stopped on River Park Road in the middle of the road. Peak subjected to a roadside breath test which gave a reading of 0.391. Peak was conveyed to the police station to the breath analysis room. Police were unable to obtain a sample of Peak's breath.
The Magistrate said it was a serious driving episode. Peak was fined $750, has a mandatory interlock period of 24 months and was disqualified from driving for six months.
Stolen vehicle
Peter Raymond Junior Reddy, 30 from Faye Close, Bateau Bay appeared via audio video link and pleaded guilty to a charge of carried in conveyance without consent of owner.
Facts said on November 22, 2016 at about 1.45pm police received numerous complaints from members of the public in relation to the dangerous manner of driving of a white Toyota Corolla hatch. Reddy was seated in the passenger's seat of the vehicle. When the vehicle was at Herons Creek road spikes were deployed by police.The vehicle came to a stop at the intersection of Pacific Highway and Cluleys Road. Reddy was pulled from the passenger's seat and handcuffed to prevent escape. He was informed by police he was under arrest as there was reasonable suspicion the vehicle he was being conveyed in was stolen.
The vehicle was registered to Thifty Car and Truck Rentals. Reddy was sentenced to time served from November 23, 2016 until April 19.
Low-range reading
Adam Reid, 46 from William Street, Port Macquarie pleaded guilty to drive with a low range PCA (second offence).
Facts said at 4.30pm on March 15 Reid drove south on Owen Street, Port Macquarie. As Reid approached the intersection of Owen and Home Streets Reid's vehicle collided with another. Police attended the location. Reid was subjected to a roadside test which gave a positive result. He was conveyed to the police station and underwent a breath analysis test which gave the reading 0.052.
Reid was fined $600, is disqualified from driving for two months and has a interlock period of 12 months.
Drug driver
Mitchell William Robinson, 18 from Grandview Parade, Port Macquarie pleaded guilty to drive vehicle while illicit drug present in blood.
Facts said at 12.28am on December 25, 2016 police were conducting random breath testing on Gordon Street. Robinson entered the site and was stopped for a random breath test which returned positive for cannabis. He was conveyed to the police station for a secondary oral fluid analysis. The sample returned a positive result of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
Robinson was sentenced to a good behaviour bond for 12 months under section 10.
Good behaviour bond
Robert Lloyd Smart, 71 from Ocean Drive, Laurieton pleaded guilty to drive with a low range PCA.
Facts said at 6.20pm on February 18 Smart drove a grey Suzuki Vitara south on The Parade, North Haven. Police stopped Smart on Ocean Drive, North Haven and he was subjected to a roadside breath test which produced a positive result. Smart was conveyed to the police station and underwent a breath analysis test which gave a reading of 0.055.
Smart was sentenced to a section 10 good behaviour bond for two years.
Smacked in the head
A woman aged 40 from Christmas Cove Caravan Park Cabin, Lakewood pleaded guilty to common assault and contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO.
Facts said on January 26 the victim and the woman went to the beach for a barbecue. The accused was heavily affected by alcohol when they returned to the property. The accused became angry with the victim and smacked him to the head a number of time. Police arrived and informed the accused she was under arrest.
During an interview the woman told police ‘I’m just so tired. I have never hit him in the head before. it just happened.'
On March 13 the woman contravened a prohibition at Lakewood between 7 and 7.23pm. Police attended the location and asked the accused if she had been drinking.
"I've had maybe two, three wines,” she said.
The woman was sentenced to a good behaviour bond for 12 months under section nine, subject to supervision.
Assault and drugs
Rachael Maree Swan, 43 from Kooloonbung Creek Reserve, Port Macquarie appeared via audio video link and pleaded guilty to common assault, contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO, use offensive language in/near public place and two charges of possess a prohibited drug.
Facts said on February 2 Swan was arrested on Town Green. Police located in her purse a resealable plastic bag containing green matter suspected to be cannabis. The cannabis was found to weigh three grams.
Facts said between 3.49pm and 4.30pm on December 9, 2016 Swan used offensive language at a residential block of Burrawan Street.
Facts said between 3.45pm and 4pm on November 30, 2016 Swan had on her possession a clear syringe containing methamphetamine.
Police facts said between 8.30pm and 9.00pm on October 23, 2016 Swan assaulted a person by scratching his forearms and wrist.
Facts said at about 7pm on November 13, 2016 Swan sat on the front veranda of a property in Port Macquarie. The victim attended the property after hearing someone yell out. Police attended and observed Swan was affected by alcohol.
Swan was sentenced to a term of imprisonment from November 14, 2016 until December 4, 2016 for common assault. For all other matters she was sentenced to a term of imprisonment from March 7 until April 19. Drugs were ordered to be destroyed. For offensive language she was fined $100.
