Port Macquarie Marine Rescue spokesperson Geoff Shelton has commended the behaviour of people who have been out and about on the water over the four day Easter break.

Mr Shelton said there have been close to 200 boats who reported to be on the water from April 14 till April 17.
Marine Rescue has not responded to any breakdowns or call outs.
Mr Shelton said it was quite unusual for the Marine Rescue not to have responded to any incidents, considering the busy holiday period.
He said the safety and behaviour of people on the water has been absolutely fantastic.
Mr Shelton has observed people wearing their life jackets while crossing the bar.
On Easter Monday, April 17 there were about 60 boats who logged on to go out to sea from Port Macquarie.
