Kendall Services and Citizens Club will host the 2017 season launch for the Kendall Blues on April 8. In the off season the rugby league club welcomed new captain coach Beau Kettle, assistant coach Dustin Prosser and vice president Brett Kettle.

“There has been great enthusiasm and already a great sense of mateship very early on within the Kendall Blues team for 2017,” Beau said.
“I’m very impressed with the numbers turning up for training and that are more than keen to pull on their boots for the Kendall Blues.”
Both Beau and Dustin have a long history with the game of rugby league as players since childhood and more recently in Group 3 playing first grade for the Wauchope Blues.
“The attitude of the players across the board has been impressive,” Dustin said.
“The players, committee and club have been more than welcoming to Beau and myself and we feel more than welcome, already feels like we are part of the team and club.”
Kendall Services and Citizens Club is the major sponsor for 2017 and the minor sponsor is the Royal Hotel Kew.
The season launch on April 8 from 6pm will see new season merchandise on display and available for sale.
The Blues will host an Easter raffle fundraiser at the Kew Hotel on April 13 at 6pm.
First game for Kendall Blues is against the new kids of Hastings League, Laurieton Stingrays on May 6 at the Stingrays’ homeground Laurieton Oval, it is set to be a great match.
“All Kendall Blues supporters are encouraged to come along and welcome the Stingrays to Hastings League and cheer on the mighty Kendall Blues,” president Wayne Wilkes said.
