The weekend brought together 92 writers at Panthers Port Macquarie.
Six books were launched and writers attended a range of sessions from poetry to publishing.
Port Writers hosted the conference from March 24 to 26.
Port Writers president Wendy Haynes said everybody really enjoyed the weekend with friendships made and a lot of learning done.
Writers drew on the resources to enhance their expertise and they forged friendships too.
The weekend was a source of inspiration.
Books were available for sale at a book nook.
The annual conference has previously been staged at Dorrigo, Coffs Harbour and Nambucca Heads.
